Madeline believes in being an active part of her community. She volunteers with the Recipe for Success Foundation, teaching children how to grow a variety of plants (which are there on the school grounds) and then how to cook meals with the plants they have grown. She also hand makes blankets to donate to the Texas Children’s Hospital and spends time with the Houston Food Bank, preparing meals for afterschool programs throughout the city.
